About the Show
Ordinary Equality is an award-winning narrative podcast series that investigates how equity for women has been systematically undermined for the past 100+ years, even after the ratification of the 19th Amendment and women’s suffrage. From covering the history of the ERA to the implications of the fall of Roe v. Wade, Ordinary Equality shines a light on how our history continues to impact our rights today.
Awards & Recognition
Well, here we are. We’re on the other side of what we’ve been talking about for years. Roe v. Wade has been struck down, and for the first time in our lifetime, abortion is no longer protected. In our first episode, Kate and Jamia talk to folks who’ve been living, and working, and surviving, in a state where abortion access has been under fire for years, even before Roe fell — Kentucky.
