Conveying the Power of Lean Manufacturing for Global Employees

Inspired by the lessons of Kaizen and lean manufacturing, leaders at GE were passionate about implementing, and sharing best practices for, a more streamlined, efficient work environment. The internal communications department was using every tool imaginable to convey the teachings to the broad employee base. That’s where we came in.

Process

Our Work

We developed two full seasons of intricately produced, critically researched, and widely consumed narrative-style episodes featuring voices from inside and outside of the company.

Production

Our team of producers worked with two extremely smart and charismatic executives to host and narrate the full series. WMN handled guest booking, script-writing, legal review, and all elements of production.

Internal Distribution

Because this was an internally-facing podcast, we worked with the IT Department to select the best modality for internal distribution, and also worked with the content and marketing teams to find innovative strategies for ensuring employee consumption.
